Stop SwitchMove stop switch (A) to STOP position.WARNING DANGERIf engine does not stop when stop switch is moved to STOPposition, close choke - COLD START position - to stall engine.Have your ECHO dealer repair stop switch before using hedgeclipper again.HEDGE TRIMMINGNOTEThis unit is designed to cut shrubs and hedges with branches nolarger than 6 mm (1/4 in.) in diameter.1. Hold trimmer firmly and squeeze throttle trigger to accelerate engine.2. Tilt trimmer so cutting teeth are angled slightly toward the hedge orshrub and proceed to cut.WARNING DANGERNever remove hands from unit when blades are moving.WARNING DANGERThe engine continues running even when the blades have stoppeddue to an obstruction. If this occurs, stop the engine, disconnectignition cable and remove the obstruction.A
