HEDGE C LIPPEROPERATOR 'S MANUAL 211. Clean dirt from filler plug area and remove plug.2. Carefully pump grease into hole.3. Add grease as required, DO NOT over fill. Leave room for thegrease to expand during operation.4. Wipe excess grease from gear box and replace filler plug.SHARPENING BLADESLevel 2.Tools required: Flat file, ScrewdriverParts required: NoneWARNING DANGERHedge Clipper Blades are very sharp. Wear gloves to protecthands.1. Disconnect spark plug wire from spark plug.2. File each edge carefully. Follow the original shape of the blade.IMPORTANTIf a power grinder is used DO NOT allow blade to over heat.3. Assemble blade stiffener using new blade nuts if required. Tightenblade bolts securing cutters to frame bar.4. Loosen blade bolt 1/2 turn then install locknut while holding bladebolt in place.5. Lubricate blades. See "Blade Lubrication Instructions," on page 20.IMPORTANTBlades should only be removed and reinstalled by an AuthorizedECHO Servicing Dealer, otherwise premature wear or internaldamage may occur. |
