Otherwise, the new switch learns itsprivate subnet from its peer, re-configures itself, and reboots.NoteA reboot is necessary to change the private subnet of an ARX.Restoring to an ARX-2500 PairThere is a special consideration you must take into account when restoring aconfiguration to an ARX-2500 pair, if the configuration changes the settingof the resource-profile command.After you replay the running-config, you must reboot the switch in order forthe resource-profile legacy setting to take effect.For detailed configuration instructions, consult the ARX® CLINetwork-Management Guide.Connecting the Out-of-Band Management PortAfter you boot the switch, you can connect the Ethernet out-of-bandmanagement port to a management station or network. To locate themanagement port, see Figure 3.1. You can use this port to access the GUI(ARX Manager) or the CLI.To access ARX Manager, direct a web browser to the interface overHTTPS.
