Page 26fed to the LEFT speaker, which bridges the stream to the FAR Link TM network. The LEFTspeaker network output is connected to the CENTER speaker network input. But theCENTER speaker also has an AES/EBU (CENTER & LFE) cable connected to its DIGITAL INconnector. As only 1 digital stream can go through the network, it is impossible to carrythe right channel to the right speaker by using only the network cables. The only way tocircumvent the problem is to add an additional link, using an XLR cable between the LEFTand the RIGHT speakers. The appropriate setting of the Input and Output speaker parameters will enable thisparticular signal routing.LEFT CENTER LFE RIGHT SUR R SUR LInput Auto SelorAES/EBUAES/EBU Auto SelorNETworkAES/EBU AES/EBU Auto SelorNETworkOutput Auto SelorAES/EBUAuto SelorNETworkAuto Sel Auto SelorAES/EBUAuto SelorAES/EBUAuto SelorNETwork4.2.4 Multi-channel 6.1 SystemThe main difference in a 6.1 system is the addition of a fourth AES/EBU stream, carryingthe 7th channel (surround center). One can opt for the straight cabling approach…
