Particular attention shall be given to therelevant requirements regarding ventilation.All rooms require a window that can be opened, orequivalent, while some rooms require a permanent vent inaddition to the window.In the UK:The room containing the cooker should have an air supplyin accordance with BS 5440 Part 2. All rooms require anopenable window or equivalent, while some rooms requirea permanent vent in addition to the openable window. Thecooker should not be installed in a bedsitting room withvolume less than 20 m³.
