To adjust the height of the rear of the cooker use thelevelling tool supplied to turn the adjusting nuts at the frontbottom corners of the cooker. To set the front feet turn thebases to raise or lower.Leave the levelling tool in the storage drawer, so that thecustomer can use it if they wish to move the cooker.Fitting a Stability BracketA stability bracket or chain (not supplied by with the cooker)should be fitted when the cooker is connected to a flexiblegas supply.When fitting a stability bracket read these instructionstogether with the leaflet supplied with the bracket.1. Place the cooker in its intended position and level thecooker.2. Draw a pencil line 100mm from the front edge of thelevelling feet (Fig.7-12).3. Mark the centreline for the bracket by measuring550mm from the left-hand side of the cooker.4. Lower the front roller and move the cooker forward.5. Measure back from the pencil line 550mm to locate thefront edge of the bracket. Fix the bracket to the floor.6. Measure the height from floor level to engagementedge in back of cooker. Add 3mm to this dimension andassemble the stability bracket to this height (i.e. fromfloor level to underside of the top member) and ensurethe bracket does not foul on the cooker (Fig.7-13).Electrical ConnectionThe cooker must be installed by a qualified electrician, inaccordance with all relevant British Standards/Codes ofPractice (in particular BS 7671), or with the relevant nationaland local regulations. WARNING: THE APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED.Note: The cooker must be connected to the correct electricalsupply as stated on the voltage label on the cooker, througha suitable cooker control unit incorporating a double poleswitch, having a contact separation of at least 3mm in allpoles. The cooker must not be connected to an ordinarydomestic power point.Access to the mains terminal is gained by removing theelectrical terminal cover box on the back panel. Connectthe mains cable to the correct terminals for your electricalsupply type (Fig.7-14 and Fig.7-15). Check that the links arecorrectly fitted and that the terminal screws are tight.
