Remove the test nipple screw and fit a pressure gauge tothe test point. Turn on and light two of the hotplate burners. For Natural Gas cookers the pressure should be between0.95kPa and 1.0kPa.For Propane X cookers the pressure should be 2.54 kPa.Electrical ConnectionThis appliance must be installed by a qualified electricianto comply with with current AS/NZS 3000 Wiring Rulesand regulations in force.Make sure that the mains characteristics (voltage, nominal, power, etc.) match the ratings indicated on the cooker dataplate.Current Operated Earth Leakage BreakersThe combined use of your cooker and other domesticappliances may cause nuisance tripping, so werecommend that the cooker is protected on an individualRCD (Residual Current Device) or RCBO (Residual CurrentBreaker with Overload).IF IN DOUBT, PLEASE CONSULT A SUITABLY QUALIFIEDELECTRICIAN.The cooker is preset for a single-phase earthed electricalconnection. It is essential to install a multi-pole circuit breakerthat completely disconnects the appliance from the mains, with a minimum contact break distance of 3 mm.nn WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED.The appliance must be connected to an efficient earthingcircuit. If the electricity network is not equipped with anearth connection, then it must be installed separately incompliance with local regulations.Earthing is a safety measure required by law, and must beperformed with particular care by a qualified technician, who must also check that the electricity supplycharacteristics are correct. The total electrical load of the appliance is approximately7.4 kW. The cable size used should be suitable for this loadand comply with all local requirements (i.e. PVC Insulatedcable IEC 60227 – code 53 for ordinary cables). Please note the maximum cable sizes are 6 mm² for the screwterminals and 10 mm² for the 3-pronged links.Access to the mains terminal is gained by removing theelectrical terminal cover box on the back panel. Connectthe mains cable to the correct terminals for your electricalsupply type (Fig. 7.11 and Fig. 7.12). Check that the links arecorrectly fitted and that the terminal screws are tight. Securethe mains cable using the cable clamp. An isolation switch shall be provided and mounted nearthe cooker, in a readily accessible position, in compliancewith AS/NZS 3000 and/or AS/NZS 5601 as applicable for theappliance configuration.ArtNo.132-0002 - 3 phase 240/415Vac 50Hz3-phase 400 VAC 50 HzFig. 7.13ArtNo.132-0005 - Fixed wiring connection 2 (AUS)Mains terminalFixing bracket forconduit connectionConduitCable clampA NFig. 7.143-phase 230 V 50 Hz
