Check appliance is safe when you have finished.Servicing NotesWhen servicing or replacing gas carrying componentsdisconnect from gas before commencing operation andcheck appliance is gas sound after completion. Whenchecking for gas leaks do not use washing up liquid -this can corrode. Use a product specificallymanufactured for leak detection.Do not use re-conditioned or unauthorised gascontrols.Disconnect from electricity supply before commencingservicing, particularly before removing any of thefollowing: facia panel, side panels, hotplate tray, or anyof the electrical components or cover boxes. Beforeelectrical reconnection check that the appliance iselectrically safe.1. To Remove Facia PanelDisconnect from electricity supply.Pull off all the control knobs.Open the grill door and R H oven door and remove the6 fixing screws underneath the control panel. NB somemodels have a plate under the facia held in place bythe bottom fixing screws.Slide the facia panel to the right and then pull forward.Disconnect leads from back of switches and timer. Liftfacia panel clear of cooker.Reassemble in reverse order. When replacing leadsrefer to the wiring diagram. Check operation of timer,ignition, and oven light switches.2. To Remove Hotplate TraysDisconnect from electricity supply.Pull the cooker forward to gain access to the rearLeft hand trayFrom the rear remove the 3 screws securingthe flue grille to the hotplate tray. Remove pansupports, burner heads and caps. Removethe 4 screws and washers holding the hotplatetray to the frame. Raise the front of thehotplate then withdraw.Right hand trayFrom the rear remove the screws securing theflue grille to the hotplate tray . If the LHhotplate has not been removed, slacken thescrews holding the L H tray. Remove pansupport, burner head, caps and trim rings.Remove the 4 screws holding the Wok burnerto the hotplate. Remove the two screws andwashers holding the RH tray to the frame.Press the Wok burner down slightly and,taking care not to damage the Wok burnerelectrode, slide the tray about 30mm to right toclear the locating brackets on the R H side.Lift tray slightly at the front and taking care notto stress the Warmer/lead junction, disconnectthe leads to the Warmer neon and separatethe leads at the piggybacks. Withdraw thehotplate.Reassemble in reverse order ensuring that the leadsare reconnected. When replacing the RH hotplate takecare not to damage the ignition electrode of the Wokburner.It is important that the rear fixing screws are refitted asthey from part of the cooker earthing.On some models there is a separate plate.A flue grill, B cooker backsheet, C earthing/fixingscrewsOn others it is a tag on the cooker backsheet.It is important that the tag is on the outside and thatboth fixing screws are fitted.A flue grill, B cooker backsheet, C earthing/fixingscrewsCheck for correct burner operation.
