Use a soft cloth or, forstubborn stains, a nylon washing up brush.NEVER USE CAUSTIC OR ABRASIVE CLEANERS ASTHESE WILL DAMAGE THE SURFACE.Control Panel and DoorsAvoid using any abrasive cleaners including creamcleaners, e.g. Jif, on brushed Stainless Steel surfaces.For best results use a liquid detergent.The control panel and control knobs should onlybe cleaned with a soft cloth wrung out in cleanhot soapy water - but take care that no surpluswater seeps into the appliance. Wipe with a cleandampened cloth then polish with a dry cloth. Theoven doors should only be cleaned with a soft clothwrung out in clean hot soapy water.Stainless Steel Cookers with window doorsIf the inside face of the glass on window doormodel becomes marked, the oven door front panelcan be taken off so that the glass panels can becleaned.Move the cooker forward to gain access to thesides (see the ‘Moving the cooker’ section of theseinstructions).Open the oven door slightly and remove the frontpanel fixing screws from the door sides (two eachside).stainless steel window doors onlyCarefully lift off the outer door panel. The insideface of the glass panels can now be cleaned - takecare not to disturb or wet the door insulation.Please note that the door is triple glazed but theinner two panels are fixed and should not beseparated. After cleaning carefully refit the outerdoor panel and replace the side fixing screws.The OvensThe ovens have removable panels that have beencoated with a special enamel that partly cleansitself. This does not stop all marks on the lining, buthelps to reduce the amount of manual cleaningneeded.The Cook & Clean panels work better above200°C. If you do most of your cooking belowthis temperature, occasionally remove thepanels and wipe with a lint free cloth and hotsoapy water. The panels should then be driedand replaced and the oven heated at 200°Cfor about one hour. This will ensure the Cook& Clean panels are working effectively.Don’t use steel wool (Brillo) or any other materialsthat will scratch the surface. Don’t use ovencleaning pads.Removing the Oven LiningsSome of the lining panels can be removed forcleaning and for cleaning behind. Remove theshelves first.On some models theright hand fannedoven has a removableoven roof - if fittedslide the roof linerforward and remove.
