Power tools create sparks whichmay ignite the dust or fumes.Keep children and bystandersaway while operating a power tool.Distractions can cause you to losecontrol.ELECTRICAL SAFETYPower tool plugs must match theoutlet. Never modify the plug in anyway. Do not use any adapter plugswith earthed (grounded) power tools.Unmodified plugs and matching outletswill reduce risk of electric shock.Avoid body contact with earthedor grounded surfaces such as pipes,radiators, ranges and refrigerators.There is an increased risk of electricshock if your body is earthed orgrounded.Do not expose power tools to rain or wetconditions. Water entering a power toolwill increase the risk of electric shock.Do not abuse the cord. Never use thecord for carrying, pulling or unpluggingthe power tool. Keep cord away fromheat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.Damaged or entangled cords increasethe risk of electric shock.When operating a power tooloutdoors, use an extension cordsuitable for outdoor use. Use of a cordsuitable for outdoor use reduces the riskof electric shock.If operating a power tool in a damplocation is unavoidable, use a residualcurrent device (RCD) protected supply.Use of an RCD reduces the risk ofelectric shock.NOTE: The term “Residual Curent Device(RCD)” can be replaced by “GroundFault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI)” or by“Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB)”.PERSONAL SAFETYStay alert, watch what you aredoing and use common sense whenoperating a power tool. Do not use apower tool while you are tired or underthe influence of drugs, alcohol ormedication. A moment of inattentionwhile operating power tools may resultin serious personal injury.Use personal protective equipment.Always wear eye, ear and respiratoryprotection.
