Install the DC9V battery into the handheld transmitter.Ensure the power is off to the Fan Receiver. While holding down the Fan On/Fan Offbutton, switch the power on to the Fan Receiver and continue to hold down the button for5 seconds until the receiver (inside the fan assembly) beeps. This will indicate thereceiver has learned the frequency that was previously selected on the transmitter.Note: After the AC power is on, do not press any other button on the transmitter beforepressing the “OFF” button; doing so will cause the procedure to fail.After completing the steps above, you should be able to operate the ceiling fan. If the fanis not responding to the transmitter, please turn the power off to the receiver for 60 secand repeat steps 2 and 3 above.Remove the battery if not used for long periods of time to prevent damage to the handheld remote.For multiple programming multiple fans with individual remote controls ensure each fannot being programmed has the power to the Fan Receiver disconnected.10NOTE: The Hand Held Remote Control System isequipped with a learning frequency function which hascode combinations to prevent potential interference fromother remote units. Thefrequency on your Receiver and Transmitter units havebeen preset at the factory.
