13enRepair and customer service.Before mounting or replacing application tools or accessories, pull the powerplug. This preventive safety measure rules out the danger of injuries throughaccidental starting of the power tool.Service.Have maintenance carried outonly through qualified person-nel. Incorrectly mounted leads and compo-nents can cause serious injuries. Have therequired service carried out only through aFEIN customer service agent.Cleaning.Prior to any cleaning or main-tenance, disconnect the powertool from the power supply in order to avoidaccidents.When using in environmentswith conductive dust in the air,such as when working metals, this dust cansettle in the interior of the power tool. Thiscan impair the total insulation of the powertool. Therefore, regularly blow out the interiorof the power tool from outside via the ventila-tion openings with dry, oil-free compressedair; always wear eye protection when doingthis. For additional protection, connect aground fault circuit interrupter (g.f.c.i.) on theline side.Do not attempt to cleanclogged or dirty ventilationopenings of the power tool with pointedmetal objects; use non-metal tools or objectsfor this.Do not use cleaning agentsand solvents that can causedamage to plastic parts. These include:Gasoline, carbon-tetrachloride, chloric sol-vents, ammonia and domestic cleaning agentsthat contain ammonia.If the supply cable of thispower tool is damaged, itmust be replaced by a specially prepared cableavailable through the FEIN customer servicecenter.Warranty and liability.The warranty for the product is valid inaccordance with the legal regulations in thecountry where it is marketed.
