Mounting instructions.Before any work on the machine itself, pull the power plug from the socket outlet.Fasten the machine onto the GRIT GIB, GIBE undercarriage (see mounting instruc-tions). The fastening of both the undercarriage to the floor and the machine to the undercarriagemust be suitable to withstand the forces occurring during working.Use appropriate screw connections (size, length) for mounting.5. Electrical connection (see appendix).Hazardous VoltageContact may cause electric shock orburn.The machine is not equipped with amains plug and must be connected to the powersupply. The electrical connection, which is to beprovided by customer, must be carried out by aqualified electrician.Observe mains voltage: The mains voltage andthe frequency of the power source must agreewith the data on the type plate of the machine.Before starting operation for the first time,check the rotation direction of the motor. Therotation direction may be changed only by aqualified electrician.6. Intended use of the machine.The machine is intended for stationary sanding/grinding of metal materials using manufacturerapproved grinding belts, or for mobile use with the GRIT GIM undercarriage.7. Adjustments.Before any work on the machineitself, pull the power plug fromthe socket outlet.7.1 Adjusting the spark guard.➤ Loosen both wing bolts and adjust the sparkguard in such a manner that the grinding beltis covered as far as possible.➤ Tighten both wing bolts again.GI 75 ...
