Customer ServiceTroubleshooting TipsOperating InstructionsSafety InstructionsInstallation Instructions19Remove the Fresh Food DoorTape the door shut with masking tape.Using a 5/16″ hex-head socket screwdriverand a 5/16″ open-end wrench, remove thetwo screws holding the center hinge (and theshim glued to it) to the cabinet. Lift thecenter hinge to free its pin from the socket inthe top of the door, and set hinge and screwsaside.Remove the tape and tilt the door away from thecabinet. Lift the door from the pin in the bottomhinge bracket. (If the plastic washer sticks to thedoor bottom, put it back on the hinge.)Set the door outside-up on a non-scratchingsurface.Using a Torxdriver, transfer the two screws fromthe opposite side of the cabinet to the screwholes vacated by the center hinge removal.Take one of the screws removed in step 2 andstart it in the outermost screw hole on theopposite side.
