Lower RackThe lower rack is best used for plates, saucersand cookware. Large items such as broilerpans and baking racks should go along theleft-hand side. Load platters, pots and bowlsalong the sides, in corners or in the back. Thesoiled side of items should face the center ofthe rack. If necessary, oversized glasses andmugs can be placed in the lower rack tomaximize loading flexibility. Also, be careful not to let a portion of an itemsuch as a pot or dish handle extend throughthe bottom rack. This could block the washarm and cause poor washing results.Fold-down tines (on some models) provideflexibility for extra-large and hard-to-fit items. The tines may be left in the up position orfolded down to customize the lower rack.Operating Instructions Safety InstructionsConsumer Support Troubleshooting Tips12Loading the dishwasher racks. For best dishwashing results, follow these loading guidelines.
