Prior to the first use, the dishwasher needsto be calibrated for water hardness. Please followthe directions below to calibrate the dishwasherto the hardness of your tap water.Determine the Hardness of Your Tap WaterIn the bag that contained these instructions, youshould find a water hardness test strip package.Read the instructions on the package, remove thetest strip and follow the instructions to determinethe hardness level of your tap water. You will usethis information to calibrate your dishwasher todispense the optimal amount of detergent.Water hardness test strip indication .Calibration for Water HardnessClose and latch the door (lights on, dishwashernot running).Press the SANI WASH and DELAY HOURS padstogether for 3 seconds. All lights will light up andyou will hear 1 to 5 beeps. The number of beepsindicates the current hardness value.To change the setting, press the DELAY HOURSpad the number of times that corresponds to thewater hardness value determined above.
