Automatic Icemaker (on some models)The icemaker will produce seven cubesper cycle—approximately 100–130 cubesin a 24-hour period, depending on freezercompartment temperature, roomtemperature, number of door openingsand other use conditions.If the refrigerator is operated before thewater connection is made to the icemaker,set the power switch in theO (off) position.When the refrigerator has been connectedto the water supply, set the power switch tothel (on) position.The icemaker will fill with water when itcools to 15°F. A newly-installed refrigeratormay take 12 to 24 hours to begin makingice cubes.Throw away the first few batches of ice toallow the water line to clear.Be sure nothing interferes with the sweepof the feeler arm.It is normal for several cubes to be joinedtogether.If ice is not used frequently, old ice cubeswill become cloudy, taste stale and shrink.If ice cubes get stuck in the icemaker,thegreen power light will blink. To correct this,set the power switch toO (off) and removethe cubes. Set the power switch tol (on) torestart the icemaker.
