Unlatch the door.CLEAR/OFF PadTouch this pad to cancel ALL ovenoperations except the clock and timer.BROIL HI/LO PadTouch this pad to select the broil function.BROIL LightFlashes while in edit mode—you can switchfrom HI to LO BROIL at this point. Glows whenthe oven is in broil mode.Indicator Lights (on some pads)EDIT mode lasts several seconds after thelast pad press. START TIME ON/OFF andCOOKING TIME ON/OFF will be the only padslit if either of these options is selected.(Example: START TIME is selected withBAKE—the START TIME pad will remainlit until the clock reaches the programmedtime, at which point it will turn off and theBAKE/TEMP RECALL pad light will light up).Power OutageCAUTION: Do not make anyattempt to operate the electric ignition ovenduring an electrical power failure.The oven or broiler cannot be lit duringa power failure. Gas will not flow unlessthe glow bar is hot.If the oven is in use when a power failureoccurs, the oven burner shuts off andcannot be re-lit until power is restored.This is because the flow of gas isautomatically stopped and will notresume when power is restored untilthe glow bar has reached operatingtemperature.If a flashing time is in the display, electric powerhas been restored. Reset the clock.If your oven was set for a timed oven operationand a power outage occurred, the clock and allprogrammed functions must be reset.To reset the clock, touch the CLOCK pad.Enter the correct time of day by touchingthe + or – pads. Touch the START/ON pad.Control LockoutYour control will allow you to lock out the touchpads so they cannot be activated when touched.To lock/unlock the controls:Touch the + and – pads at the sametime for 3 seconds, until the displayshows LOC ON.To unlock the control, touch the +and – pads at the same time for 3seconds, until the display showsLOC OFF.When this feature is on and the touchpads are touched, the control will beepand the display will show LOC ON.■ The control lockout mode affects alltouch pads. No touch pads will workwhen this feature is activated.■ The adjustment will be retained inmemory after a power failure.CONTROL LOCK/UNLOCKPRESS + AND – AND HOLD FOR 3 SECONDS
