Installation InstructionsINSTALLING THE ZONELINE[] INSTALL THE WALL CASE ANDEXTERIOR GRILLEThe RAB71Aseries or RAB77A4wall case must beproperlg installed per instructions packed with the case.• Removethe corrugated stiffener and the outdoorprotective panel. Use the slit in the outdoor panelas a handhold and push out.panelStiffener• Install the exterior grille from the room side followinginstructions packed with the grille.Insulated Wall CaseThis unit is designed to be installed in a GE plasticor an insulated steel wall case. This minimizescondensation from forming on the room side ofthe case.The RAB71Aseries wall cases are insulated. Insulation kitRAKgO1Lis available for use with RAB77A4or existinguninsulated wall cases when needed.NOTE:For installation with a subbase or duct adapter,see the instructions packed with those kits.121PREPARE THE UNIT• Carefullg remove shipping tape and foam shippingblocks from the room cabinet, compressor andvent door. There mag be multiple blocks and piecesof shipping tape that need to be removed.(Locationsma,• Remove the room cabinet bg pulling it out at thebottom to release it (1);then lift it up to clear the railalong the unit top (2).• If vent door is to be operational, remove shipping screwsfrom the front side of the vent door,if present.Removetwoscrews(ifoperationisdesired)17
