Use a damp cloth toclean or rinse. For cleaning, use mild soap andwater or a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water.For rinsing, use clean water. Polishdry with asoft cloth.Do not use abrasive cleansers, strong liquidcleaners, plastic scouring pads or oven cleanerson the control panel-they will damage thefinish.Do not try to bend knobs by pulling them upor down or by hanging a towel or other suchloads. This can damage the gas valve shaft.The control knobs may be removed for easiercleaning.Hake sure the knobs are in the OFF positionsand pull them straight off the stems forcleaning.Replace the knobs in the OFF position to ensureproper placement.Hetal parts can be cleaned with soap andwater. Do not use steel wool, abrasives,ammonia, acids or commercial oven cleaners.Dry with a soft cloth.To determine the correct location of the knobon the front control panel, examine the backof the knob. Knobswith labels and two stemholes are not interchangeable with othertypes of knobs and should be returned to thefront panel first. Locate the proper positionby matching the label and the front paneldescription or by matching the shape of theknob holes to the shape of the control panelstems. Knobswithout labels and only one stemhole can be returned to any position on thefront control panel that has only one stem.The knobs can be cleaned in a dishwasher orthey may also be washed with soap and water.Hake sure the insidesof the knobs are drybefore replacing.33
