Care and cleaning of the range.Oven BottomThe oven bottom has a porcelain-enamelfinish. To make cleaning easier, protect theoven bottom from excessive spillovers byplacing a cookie sheet on the rack below therack you are cooking on. This is particularlyimportant when baking a fruit pie or otherfoods with a high acid content. Hot fruitfillings or other foods that are highly acidic(such as tomatoes, sauerkraut and sauceswith vinegar or lemon juice) may cause pittingand damage to the porcelain-enamel surfaceand should be wiped up immediately.To clean up spillovers, use soap and water, anabrasive cleaner or soap-filled scouring pad.Rinsewell to remove any soap before self-cleaning.Pull hinge locks down to unlock.Removal positionBottom Iedge ofslo_ tII | | HingearmLift-Off Lower Oven Door (on some models)The door is very heavy.
