Please have serial number and model number available when calling for service.For the period of One Year from the date of the original purchase, GE Appliances will choose to replace orservice the defective unit. In the event of service, GE Appliances will provide any part of the microwave oven whichfails due to a defect in materials or workmanship. During this limited one-year warranty, GE Appliances will alsoprovide, free of charge, all labor and related service costs to replace the defective part when the unit is serviced.On Cafe and Monogram branded models only: For the period of Five Years from the date of the originalpurchase, GE Appliances will choose to either replace the unit or replace the magnetron tube, if themagnetron tube fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship. During this five –year limited warranty, you willbe responsible for any labor or in-home service cost.What GE Appliances will not cover:Ŷ Service trips to your home to teach you how to usethe product.Ŷ Improper installation, delivery or maintenance. If youhave an installation problem, contact your dealer orinstaller.You are responsible for providing adequateelectrical,exhausting, and other connecting facilities.Ŷ Failure of the product or damage to the product if it isabused, misused (for example, cavity arcing from wirerack or metal/foil), or used for other than the intendedpurpose or used commercially.Ŷ Replacement of house fuses or resetting of circuitbreakers.Ŷ Damage to the product caused by accident, fire,floods or acts of God.Ŷ Damage to finish, such as surface rust, tarnish, or smallblemishes not reported within 48 hours of delivery.Ŷ Incidental or consequential damage caused bypossible defects with this appliance.Ŷ Damage caused after delivery.Ŷ Product not accessible to provide required service.Ŷ Service to repair or replace light bulbs, except for LEDlamps.This warranty is extended to the original purchaser and any succeeding owner for products purchased for homeuse within the USA. If the product is located in an area where service by a GE Appliances Authorized Servicer is notavailable, you may be responsible for a trip charge or you may be required to bring the product to an Authorized GEService location for service. In Alaska, the warranty excludes the cost of shipping or service calls to your home.Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. This warranty gives youspecific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
