On some models, a screwat the front of the light shield willhave to be removed. On other models,the screw is located in the pocketlocated at the back of the shield.To remove the light shield, on somemodels, press in on the tabs on the sidesof the shield and slide forward and out.On other models, just slide the shieldforward and out.After replacing the bulb with anappliance bulb of the same or lowerwattage, replace the light shield andscrew. When replacing the light shield,make sure that the tabs at the backof the shield fit into the slots atthe back of the light shield housing.Plug the refrigerator back in.Refrigerator Compartment—Lower LightThis light is located above the top drawer.Unplug the refrigerator.Lift the light shield up and pull it out.After replacing the bulb with anappliance bulb of the same or lowerwattage, replace the shield.Plug the refrigerator back in.Freezer CompartmentUnplug the refrigerator.Remove the shelf just above the lightshield. (The shelf will be easier toremove if it is emptied first.) Removethe screw at the top of the light shield.To remove the light shield, press in onthe sides, and lift up and out.Replace the bulb with an appliancebulb of the same or lower wattage,and reinstall the light shield. Whenreinstalling the light shield, makesure the top tabs snap securelyinto place. Replace the screw.Reinstall the shelf and plug therefrigerator back in.15DispenserUnplug the refrigerator.The bulb is located on the dispenserunder the control panel.Remove the light bulb by turningit counterclockwise.Replace the bulb with a bulb of thesame size and wattage.Plug the refrigerator back in.TabsYour light shield will look likeone of the following:PocketOR
