The softwareinterface is the preferred method to edit settings and view actual values because the computer monitor can display moreinformation.The minimum system requirements for the EnerVista software are as follows:• Pentium 4 (Core Duo recommended)• Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (Service Pack 3 recommended), Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 Release 2 64-bit• 1 GB of RAM (2 GB recommended)• 500 MB free hard drive space (1 GB recommended)• 1024 x 768 display (1280 x 800 recommended)• Serial port• Ethernet port of the same type as one of the UR CPU ports or a LAN connection to the UR• Internet access or a DVD driveThe following qualified modems have been tested to be compatible with the D30 and the EnerVista software:• US Robotics external 56K FaxModem 5686• US Robotics external Sportster 56K X2• PCTEL 2304WT V.92 MDC internal modem3.6.3 Install softwareAfter ensuring that the requirements for using EnerVista UR Setup software are met, install the software from the DVD, ordownload EnerVista Launchpad software from http://www.gedigitalenergy.com/multilin and install it.To install the UR EnerVista software from the DVD:1. Insert the DVD into the DVD drive of your computer.2. Click the Install Now button and follow the instructions.3. When installation is complete, start the EnerVista Launchpad application.4. In the EnerVista Launch Pad window, click the Add Product button and select the appropriate product as follows.Select the Web option to ensure the most recent software release, or select CD if you do not have an Internetconnection, then click the Add Now button to list software items for the product. EnerVista Launchpad obtains thesoftware from the Internet or DVD and automatically starts the installation program.
