14Helpful InformationCare & CleaningThe drum is rust-resistant.However, colored fabrics whichlose color or bleed in the washermay cause discoloration of the dry-er drum. We recommend that thedryer drum be cleaned with a clothusing a detergent and water pasteor a mild abrasive, such as SoftScrub™. Rinse thoroughly. Thentumble-dry several wet rags or oldtowels for 20 to 30 minutes beforeusing the dryer normally.InteriorWipe off any spills or washingcompounds. Wipe or dust witha damp cloth. Try not to strikethe surface with sharp objects.Dryer control panel and finishesmay be damaged by some laundrypretreatment soil and stain removerproducts if such products aresprayed on or have direct contactwith the dryer.Apply these pretreatment productsaway from the dryer. The fabricmay then be washed and driednormally. Damage to your dryercaused by pretreatment productsis not covered by your warranty.ExteriorBefore every dryer use, clean thelint filter.
