For plasticitems not so marked, check the manufacturer'srecommendations.• Load light plastic items so they will not becomedislodged and drop to the bottom of thedishwasher - they might come into contact with theCalrod® heating element and be damaged.To minimize the possibility ofinjury.CAUTIONContents washed in SaniWash cycle may be hot tothe touch. Use care before unloading.• When loading items to be washed:A. Locate sharp items so that they are not likelyto damage the door seal, and• B. Load sharp knives with handles up to reducethe risk of cut-type injuries.• Do not tamper with controls.• Do not touch the Calrod® heating element duringor immediately after use.• Do not operate your dishwasher unless allenclosure panels are properly in place.• Do not abuse, sit on, or stand on the door or dishrack of the dishwasher.,• Close supervision is necessary if this appliance isused by or near children. Do not allow children toplay inside, on or with this appliance or anydiscarded appliance. Dispose of discardedappliances and shipping or packing materialproperly. Before discarding a dishwasher, removethe door of the washing compartment.• Keep all washing detergentsand wetting agents out of thereach of children, preferablyin a lockedcabinet. Observe all warnings on container labelsto avoid personal injury.• To minimize the possibility of electric shock,disconnect this appliance from the power supplybefore attempting any maintenance. NOTE:Turning the control dial to the OFF position doesnot disconnect the appliance from the powersupply. We recommend having a qualifiedtechnician service your appliance.WARNING-HYDROGEN GAS isproduced by the chemical actionwithin your water heater. It canaccumulate in the water heater and/orwater pipes if hot water has not been used for aperiod of two weeks or longer. HYDROGEN GASIS EXPLOSIVE. To prevent the possibility ofdamage or injury, if you have not used hot water fortwo weeks or more, or moved into a residence inwhich the hot water system may not have been usedfor some time, turn on all hot water faucets andallow them to run for several minutes before usingany electrical appliance which is connected to thehot water system. This will allow any hydrogen gasto escape.
