Preparing for VacationFor long vacations or absences, remove foodand unplug the refrigerator. Clean the interiorwith a baking soda solution of one tablespoon(15 ml) of baking soda to one quart (1 liter) ofwater. Leave the doors open.Preparing to MoveRemove food and unplug the refrigerator.Secure all loose items such as shelves anddrawers by taping them securely in place toprevent damage.Be sure the refrigerator stays in an uprightposition during moving.7GEAppliances.comReplacing the LED LightThe LED light is located behind a light lens inthe celling of the refrigerator section.To replace the LED light:Remove the top shelf (if necessary).Remove the Phillips screw at the back ofthe light lens. Using your finger in thenotch at the back of the lens, pull thelight lens forward (toward therefrigerator door) and down to releasethe tabs at the back of the lens and thenaway from the front of the refrigerator torelease the tabs at the front of the lens.Slide the LED assembly from themounting slot.Gently pull the leads out and disconnectfrom the unit.Replace with new LED assembly andslide assembly back into mounting slot.Replace the light lens by sliding the tabsat the front of the lens into the slots andpush up on the lens until the tabs at theback of the lens snap into place.
