18REVERSING THE DOOR SWINGArrange the coil of tubing so that it does not vibrateagainst the back of the refrigerator or against thewall. Push the refrigerator back to the wall.PLUG IN THE REFRIGERATOR11 START THE ICEMAKER (CONT.)Feeler arm models – Move the feeler arm to theON (down) position. The icemaker will not begin tooperate until it reaches its operating temperatureof (15 F) (-9 C) or below. It will begin operationautomatically if the icemaker feeler arm is in theON (down) position.NOTE: In lower water pressure conditions, thewater valve may turn on up to 3 times to deliverenough water to the icemaker.INSTALLING THE WATER LINE (CONT.)Installation InstructionsTOOLS YOU WILL NEED5/16″ Head socket driver3/4″ Head socket driver(a 6-point socket isrecommended)Phillips screwdriverPutty knife orthin-blade screwdriverMasking tapeIMPORTANT NOTESWhen reversing the door swing:• Read the instructions all the way through beforestarting.• Handle parts carefully to avoid scratching paint.• Set screws down by their related parts to avoid usingthem in the wrong places.• Provide a non-scratching work surface for the doors.IMPORTANT: Once you begin, do not move thecabinet until door-swing reversal is completed.These instructions are for changing the hinges fromthe right side to the left side—if you ever want to changethe hinges back to the right side, follow these sameinstructions and reverse all references to left and right.Unplug the refrigerator from its electrical outlet.Empty all door shelves, including the dairycompartment.Feeler Arm in theSTOP (up) positionFeeler Arm in the ON(down) positionFeeler arm modelSTART THE ICEMAKERPower switch models – Set the icemaker powerswitch to the I (on) position.
