TheHandset consists of a Light Emitting Diode (LED) displayand a keyboard for data entry. Note: A different handsetcord is required for use with SX controls than that usedwith LX and ZX controls.Section 5.2 Purpose / Setup FunctionsThe purpose of the Handset is to allow authorizedpersonnel to perform the following functions of the SXfamily of Controls:Monitor existing system fault codesMonitor intermittent random fault codesMonitor battery state of charge on systems with BDIMonitor hourmeter readingMonitor or adjust the following control functions:Creep speedArmature Controlled Acceleration and 1A TimeRegenerative Braking Current Limit and DisableArmature and Field Current LimitPlugging Distance (Current)Pedal Position Plug Range or Disable1A Drop Out Current or DisableSpeed Limit PointsTruck Management Fault Speed LimitInternal Resistance Compensation for BatteryState of Charge IndicationBattery Voltage (36/48 volts is auto ranging)Selection of Card Operation Type.At the transistor control traction card, unplug the "Y plug" ifthe dash display is in use, and plug in the Handset to theplug location "Y" on the control card.
