Do not lock the oven door with the latch during timed cooking. The latch is used for self-cleaning only.NOTE: Foods that spoil easily—such as milk, eggs, fish, stuffings, poultry and pork—should not be allowed to sit formore than 1 hour before or after cooking. Room temperature promotes the growth of harmful bacteria. Be sure thatthe oven light is off because heat from the bulb will speed harmful bacteria growth.Using the timed baking and roasting features. (on some models)How to Set an Immediate Start and Automatic StopThe oven will turn on immediately and cook for aselected length of time. At the end of the cookingtime, the oven will turn off automatically.Touch theBAKE pad.Touch the+ or– pads to set theoven temperature.Touch theCOOKING TIME pad.NOTE: If your recipe requires preheating, youmay need to add additional time to the length ofthe cooking time.Touch the+ or– pads to set thebaking time.The cooking time that you enteredwill be displayed. (If you select CookingTime first and then adjust the BakeTemperature, the oven temperaturewill be displayed instead).Touch theSTART/ON pad.The display shows either the oventemperature that you set or the cookingtime countdown.
