Excessive amountof grease may ignite leading to smoke damage toyour home.■ If the self-cleaning mode malfunctions, turn theoven off and disconnect the power supply. Have itserviced by a qualified technician.■ Do not use oven cleaners. No commercial ovencleaner or oven liner protective coating of any kindshould be used in or around any part of the oven.■ Do not clean the door gasket. The door gasket isessential for a good seal. Care should be taken notto rub, damage or move the gasket.■ IMPORTANT: The health of some birds is extremelysensitive to the fumes given off during the self-cleaning cycle of any range. Move birds to anotherwell-ventilated room.WARNING WARMING DRAWER SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (on some models)■ The purpose of the warming drawer is to hold hotcooked foods at serving temperature. Bacteria willgrow very rapidly in food that is between 40 and140°F (4 and 60°C). Do not put cold food inwarming drawer. Do not keep food in the warmingdrawer for more than 2 hours. Failure to followthese instructions may result in foodborne illness.■ Do not leave paper products, plastics, cannedfood, or combustible materials in the drawer.They may ignite.■ Do not touch the heating element or the interiorsurface of the drawer. These surfaces may be hotenough to cause burns.■ Use care when opening the drawer. Open the drawera crack, and let hot air or steam escape beforeremoving or replacing food. Hot air or steam thatescapes can cause burns to hands, face, and/or eyes.■ Do not use aluminum foil to line the warmingdrawer. Foil is an excellent heat insulator and willtrap heat beneath it. If rack must be moved while oven is hot, becareful to avoid touching hot surfaces.■ Do not leave items such as paper, cooking utensils,or food in the oven when not in use. Items stored inan oven can ignite.■ Do not leave items on the cooktop near the ovenvent. Items may overheat resulting in a risk of fire orburns.■ Never broil with door open. Open-door broiling isnot permitted due to overheating of control knobs.
