This will disturb the heatcirculation and result in poor baking.A smaller sheet of foil may be used tocatch a spillover by placing it on a lowerrack several inches below the food.To avoid possible burns, place the racks in the desired position before you turn the oven on.Before you begin…The racks have stop-locks, so that whenplaced correctly on the supports, they willstop before coming completely out, andwill not tilt.When placing and removing cookware,pull the rack out to the bump on therack support.To remove a rack, pull it toward you,tilt the front end up and pull it out.To replace, place the end of the rack(stop-locks) on the support, tilt upthe front and push the rack in.NOTE: The oven has 7 rack positions.CAUTION:Never place cookingutensils or any other items on the oven floor. There isa heating element beneath the oven floor. Placing itemson the oven floor may cause the oven to overheat,resulting in damage to the oven and risk of damageor fire to cabinets.How to Set the Oven for Baking or RoastingPress the Bake pad.Press the number pads to set thedesired temperature.Press the Start pad.Check food for doneness atminimum time on recipe. Pans should not touch eachother or the walls of the oven. If youneed to use two racks, stagger the pansso one is not directly above the other,and leave approximately 11⁄2″ betweenpans, from the front, back and sidesof the wall.Aluminum FoilNOTE: A cooling fan mayautomatically turn on and off tocool internal parts. This is normal,and the fan may continue to runeven after the oven is turned off.To preheat, set the oven at thecorrect temperature. The controlwill beep when the oven ispreheated and the display will showyour set temperature. This may takeapproximately 10 minutes.
