14Using the clock and timer.To Set the ClockThe clock must be set to the correct time of dayfor the automatic oven timing functions to workproperly. The time of day cannot be changedduring a timed baking or self-cleaning cycle.Press the CLOCK pad.Press the INCREASE or DECREASE pads.Press the START pad.Make sure the clock is set to thecorrect time of day.To Set the TimerPress the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad.Press the INCREASE or DECREASE padsuntil the amount of time you want showsin the display.If you make a mistake press the KITCHENTIMER ON/OFF pad and begin again.Press the START pad.When the timer reaches :00, the controlwill beep 3 times followed by one beepevery 6 seconds until the KITCHEN TIMERON/OFF pad is pressed.The 6-second tone can be canceled byfollowing the steps in the Special features ofyour oven control section under Tones at theEnd of a Timed Cycle.The timer is a minute timer only.The timer does not control ovenoperations. The maximum settingon the timer is 9 hours and 59minutes.To Reset the TimerIf the display is still showing the time remaining,you may change it by pressing the KITCHENTIMER ON/OFF pad, then press the INCREASEor DECREASE pads until the time you wantappears in the display.If the remaining time is not in the display(clock, delay start or cooking time are in thedisplay), recall the remaining time by pressingthe KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad and thenpressing the INCREASE or DECREASE pads toenter the new time you want.To Cancel the TimerPress the KITCHEN TIMER ON/OFF pad twice.Power OutageAfter a power outage, when power is restoredthe display will flash and time shown willQRORQJHUEHFRUUHFW³IRUH[DPSOHDIWHUD5-minute power interruption the clock will be 5minutes slow.The display flashes until the clock is reset. Allother functions that were in operation when thepower went out will have to be programmedagain.
