Be sure thatthe oven light is off because heat from the bulb will speed harmful bacteria growth.The low temperature zone of this range (between 170°F and 200°F) is available to keep hot cooked foods warm.Food kept in the oven longer than 2 hours at these low temperatures may spoil.How to Set an Immediate Start and Automatic StopThe oven will turn on immediately and cookfor a selected length of time. At the end of thecooking time the oven will turn off automatically.Press the BAKE pad.Using the INCREASE or DECREASE pads,enter the desired temperature.Press the COOKING TIME pad.NOTE: If your recipe requires preheating, youmay need to add additional time to the lengthof the cooking time.Using the INCREASE or DECREASE pads,enter the desired baking time. The oventemperature and the cooking time thatyou entered will be displayed.Press the START pad.The display shows the oven temperature thatyou set and the cooking time countdown. Thedisplay starts changing once the temperaturereaches 100°F.The oven will continue to cook for theprogrammed amount of time, then shut offautomatically.Press the CLEAR/OFF pad to clear the display.How to Set a Delayed Start and Automatic StopYou can set the oven control to delay-start theoven, cook for a specific length of time andthen turn off automatically.Make sure the clock shows the correct time ofday.Press the BAKE pad.Using the INCREASE or DECREASE pads,enter the desired temperature.Press the COOKING TIME pad.NOTE: If your recipe requires preheating, youmay need to add additional time to the lengthof the cooking time.Using the INCREASE or DECREASE pads,enter the desired baking time.Press the DELAY START pad.Using the INCREASE or DECREASE pads,enter the time of day you want the oven toturn on and start cooking.Press the START pad.NOTE: An attention tone will sound if you areusing timed baking and do not press the STARTpad after entering the baking temperature.If you would like to check the times you haveset, press the DELAY START pad to check thestart time you have set or press the COOKINGTIME pad to check the length of cooking timeyou have set.When the oven turns on at the time of day youhave set, the display will show the changingtemperature (starting at 100°F) and the cookingtime countdown.At the end of timed baking, the oven will turnoff.
