During andafter use, do not touch, or let clothing orother flammable materials contact thesurface elements or areas nearby thesurface elements; allow sufficient timefor cooling first.■ Potentially hot surfaces include thecooktop and areas facing the cooktop.■ To minimize the possibility of burns,ignition of flammable materials andspillage, the handle of a containershould be turned toward the centerof the cooktop without extending overany nearby surface elements.■ Always turn the surface element control tooff before removing the cookware.■ Use proper pan size—select cookwarehaving flat bottoms large enough to coverthe surface element heating element.
