Follow these directionscarefully in caring for it.Some cooktop models are providedwith cleaners. Follow the instructionson the containers.Before cleaning any part of your cooktop,be sure all burners are off and cool.DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER TOTHE COOKTOP at the fuse box or circuitbreaker panel, or pull the cooktop power plug,located beneath the cooktop and insidethe cabinets.ControlknobsThe control knobs may be removed forcleaning.To remove knob, pull it straight up.The knobs have a tactile grip surface, but nospecial cleaning is required.Wash the knobs in soap and water but do notsoak. Avoid getting water down into the knobstem holes.Replace the knobs after cleaning.NOTE: The knob stem is D-shaped. Replacethe flat side of the knob onto the flat side ofthe stem.Sealed burnerassembliesTurn all controls OFF before removing theburner parts.The burner grates, caps and burner heads can belifted off, making them easy to clean.CAUTION: Do not operate the burner withoutall burner parts in place.GrateElectrodeBurner capBurner headBurner baseElectrodeThe electrode of the spark ignitor is behindeach burner. When one burner is turned toLITE, all the burners spark. Do not attempt todisassemble or clean around any burner whileanother burner is on.
