Broiling and ToastingAdvantium Oven1. Press the CONV BAKE/BROIL pad.2. Turn the dial to BROIL or TOAST andpress to enter.To bypass preheating:1. When the prompt shows PREHEATTHE OVEN? turn the dial to NO. Pressthe dial to enter.2. Place the food in the oven, turn thedial to set the cook time and press toenter.Press the dial or START/PAUSE to startcooking. When cooking is complete,the oven will signal and turn off.To preheat:1. When the prompt shows PREHEATTHE OVEN? turn the dial to YES. Pressthe dial or press START/PAUSE tobegin preheating.The oven starts preheatingimmediately. Do not place the foodin the oven. (You will be prompted toenter the cook time, after the oven ispreheated.)2. When the oven is finished preheating,it will signal. If you do not open thedoor within 1 hour, the oven will turnoff automatically. Open the oven doorand, using caution, place the food inthe oven.3. Close the oven door. Turn the dial toset the cook time and press thedial or START/PAUSE pad to begincooking.When cooking is complete, the ovenwill signal and turn off.If the oven door is opened during cooking,PAUSE will appear in the display. Close thedoor and press START/PAUSE.How toBroil orToastBroilingandToastingBroil and toast use the upper lamps, lower heaterand convection system to broil or toast foodsimilar to a conventional oven.Before you begin, make sure the turntable is inplace.
