Frequency of cleaning depends on thetype of cooking you do. Grease filters should becleaned at least once a month. Never operate thedowndraft without the filters in place.To remove: Slip fingers into the vent holes, lift thevent straight up and pull forward. Grasp the filtertabs, push down and out of the retainer.To clean: Soak and then agitate in a hot detergentsolution. Light brushing may be used to removeembedded soil. Rinse, shake and remove moisturebefore replacing.
