The UPS operatesin ‘ON BATTERY’ mode”: it dischargesthe batteries.3.3 Use: Normal Operation3.3.1 Normal operation conditions:• The utility power supply is present and within allowable tolerances,• The load does not exceed the nominal rating of the UPS and• The operating temperature is below alarm level• The UPS is on,3.3.2 Normal operation indications:• LEDs ‘Line’, ‘On Line’ and the Load LEDare on• One or more LEDs on the level bar are on• The buzzer is silent3.3.3 UPS self-testPress the ‘I/TEST’-button (1) when theUPS is in ‘ON LINE’ mode. The UPS willshift to ‘ON BATTERY’ mode andautomatically perform a self-test for about10 seconds (as in fig. 3.5). The self-testfunction will check the condition of thebattery.
