7Empty the pan. Place the Chill/Thawtray in the pan. Place the items on thetray and close the pan completely.Select the ExpressThaw,™ ExpressChill ™or SelectTemp ™ pad. The display andSET light will come on. Tap the paduntil the light appears next to thedesired setting. Use the chart todetermine the best setting to use. To stop a feature before it isfinished, tap that feature’s paduntil no options are selected andthe display is off. During ExpressThaw andExpressChill, the display on thecontrols will count down the timein the cycle. After the ExpressThaw cycle iscomplete, the pan will reset to theMEAT setting (32°F) to help preservethawed items until they are used. The displayed actual temperature ofthe CustomCool pan may vary slightlyfrom the SET temperature based onusage and operating environment.NOTE: For food safety reasons, it is recommendedthat foods be wrapped in plastic wrap when usingExpressThaw.
