On some models, the signal soundlevel can be adjusted.If you selected theWRINKLE CARE optionthe signal will sound at the end of thedrying time and will sound several timesduring theWRINKLE CARE cycle. This willremind you that it is time to remove theclothes.NOTE:nRemove garments promptly at the soundof the signal. Place clothes on hangersso wrinkles won’t set in.nUse the END OF CYCLE SIGNAL especiallywhen drying fabrics like polyester knitsand permanent press. These fabrics shouldbe removed so wrinkles won’t set in.Drum LampBefore replacing the light bulb, be sure tounplug the dryer power cord or disconnectthe dryer at the household distribution panelby removing the fuse or switching off thecircuit breaker. Reach above dryer openingfrom inside the drum. Remove the bulb andreplace with the same size bulb.Wrinkle CareUse this option to minimize the wrinklesin clothes. It provides approximately 15minutes of no-heat tumbling after theclothes are dry.This option can only be used with theCOTTONS,EASY CARE,DELICATES, andULTRACARE cycles. If you are using theCYCLESIGNAL and you select theWRINKLE CAREoption, a signal will sound at the end of thedrying time and several times during theWRINKLE CARE cycle. This will remind youthat it is time to remove the clothes.IfWRINKLE CARE is notON, the dryer will stoponce the timer reaches theWRINKLE CAREmark on the cycle dial.Dryness Sensor Cycle–on some modelsThis feature is only activated in theCOTTONS,EASY CARE,DELICATES, andULTRACARE cycles.TheDryness Sensor provides greaterdrying accuracy than standard machines,resulting in shorter dry times and betterclothes care. As the clothes tumble, theytouch a moisture sensor. The sensor willstop the heating cycle as soon as the clotheshave reached the selected dryness.On some models, there is aDrynessSensor Cycle indicator light. This light isilluminated during automatic cycles.When theDryness Sensor feature stops theheating cycle, the light will go out and thecool down period will begin.Note: The clothes will be hot if they areremoved immediately after the indicatorlight goes out.DrynessSensor CycleColor LogicSelect the correctFABRIC CARE setting. Matchthe particular color below the words with thesame color on the Cycle Dial.Example: Drying a load of clothing labeledpermanent press.Choose theFABRIC CARE setting-—for thisload it would be theEASY CAREMED.HEAT (which is a particular color).Turn the Cycle Dial to the area that hasthe same color as theFABRIC CARE settingyou have chosen—for this load it would betheEASY CARE AUTOMATIC.21(appearance may vary)Automatic Cycle Signal–on some modelsAt the end of each cycle there isapproximately 15 minutes of no-heattumbling after the laundry is dry.A reminder signal will sound periodicallyduring this time to remind you to remove thelaundry.
