To reduce waterspotting, the shelf and its grille should be cleanedregularly.If no water is dispensed when the refrigerator isfirst installed, there may be air in the water linesystem. Press the dispenser arm for at least twominutes to remove trapped air from the water lineand to fill the water system. To flush out impuritiesin the water line, throw away the first six glassfulsof water.CAUTION:Never put fingers or anyother objects into the ice crusher dischargeopening.Locking the DispenserPress the LOCK or LOCK CONTROLS pad for3 seconds to lock the dispenser and control panel.To unlock, press and hold the pad again for3 seconds.Dispenser LightThe LIGHT pad turns the night light inthe dispenser on and off. On somemodels, if this light burns out, it should be replacedwith a 6-watt, 12V maximum bulb.Door AlarmUse Door Alarm to sound if either door is openfor more than 3 minutes. While this feature is turned on,the freezer fan runs continuously for 48 hours, oruntil the feature is turned OFF. During this period,ice production will increase up to 40%. Models withthe integrated ice feature system require at FIRSTUSE at least half an 8 oz. glass of ice to be dispensedevery 6 to 12 hours.
