Keep this guide handy so you can refer to it,especially during the first weeks of using yournew range.Oven Light (on some models) Automatic Oven Shut OffThe light comes on automatically when the ovendoor is opened.On models with an oven window, use the switch toturn the light on and off when the door is closed.As a safety feature, this oven will automatically shutitself off after 12 hours. On models with touch padclock controls this feature may be deactivated toallow the oven to be left on for more than 12 hours.To deactivate the Automatic Oven Shut-Off, press andhold both the increase and decrease minute pads forabout 4 seconds. The display will change from time ofday to show “off”.To reactivate the feature, press and hold both theincrease and the decrease minute pads for about 4seconds. The display will change from time of day toshow “on”.12Shelf PositionsThe oven has 4 shelf supports as identified inthis illustration as A (bottom), B, C and D (top).Shelf positions for cooking food are suggestedin the Baking, Roasting and Broiling sections.ABCDOven ShelvesThe shelves are designed with stop-locks so thatwhen placed correctly on the shelf supports, theywill stop before coming completely out from theoven, and will not tilt when removing food from orplacing food on them.When placing cookware on a shelf, pull the shelf outto the bump on the shelf support. Place the cookwareon the shelf, then slide the shelf back into the oven.This will eliminate reaching into the hot oven.To remove a shelf from the oven, pull it towards you,tilt the front end upward and pull it out.To replace, placethe shelf on the shelfsupport with thestop-locks (curvedextension under theshelf) facing up towardthe rear of the oven.Tilt up the front andpush the shelf towardthe back of the ovenuntil it goes past thebump on the shelf support.Then lower the front of theshelf and push it all the way back.Bump
