DO NOTOPERATE YOUR HOODWITHOUT ALL THREEFILTERS IN PLACE.To remove the charcoal filter,disconnect power at main fuseor circuit breaker panel or pullplug. Remove the top grill bytaking off 2 screws which hold itin place. Grasp filter and slidetoward front of oven. It will slideright out.To remove grease filter, grasp the“finger hold” on the filter and slideto the rear.Then pull filter downward and tothe front. The filter will drop out.To clean grease filter, soak,then agitate filter in solution of hotwater and detergent. Don’t useammonia or other alkali becausethey will darken metal. Lightbrushing can be used to removeembedded dirt.Rinse, shake and remove moisturebefore replacing.Filters should be cleaned at leastonce a month. Never operateyour hood without the filters inplace. In situations where flamingmight occur on surfaces belowhood, filters will retard entry offlames into the unit.IiTo replace grease filter, slide thefilter in the frame slot on the backof the opening.Pull filter upward and to the frontto lock into place.26
