Your Touch Control WnelThe touch control panel allows you to set the ovencontrols electronically with the touch of a finger. It’sdesigned to be easy to use and understand. With yourmicrowave oven, you have the option of using yourautomatic cooking control pads for quick and easyconvenience cooking. Or you may make your ownprograms to suit your individualized cooking style.When You Plug in the OvenThe panel displays four 8’s and all of the ovenfunctions on the lower portion. After 15 seconds,all lights disappear and “PF” appears in the upperportion. Touch CLEAR/OFF pad and oven is readyfor use and the clock can be set.If power is disrupted at any time, the above sequencereoccurs, and you must reset CLOCK after touchingCLEAR/OFF.1. Display Panel. Displays time of day and timecounting down during cooking functions.2. Time Cook I and Time Cook 11. Microwave for apreset amount of time using automatic power level 10or change power level after setting time. (See page 9.)3. Number Pads. Touch these pads to enter time orpower level.4. Min/Sec Timer. This feature uses no microwaveenergy while it functions as both a kitchen timer or asa holding period between defrost and time cooking.(See page 8.)5. Auto Start. Allows you to program your oveh tobegin cooking at a preset time of day–up to a 12-hourdelay. (See page 9.)6. Power bvel. Touch this pad before enteringanother power level number if you want to changefrom automatic power level 10 (High) for cookingor power level 3 (Low) for defrosting.7. Start. After all selections are made, touch this padto start oven.8. Exhaust Fan. Press HI, LO, or OFF for desiredfan speed.9. Time Defrost. Gentle thawing at automatic powerlevel 3, or change power level after entering time.(See page 10.)10. Clock. Touch this pad to enter time of day or checktime of day while microwaving. To set clock, firsttouch CLOCK pad and then enter time of day. Forexample, if time is 1:30, touch number pads 1, 3, and Oand “1:30” will appear on display. “START” willflash, directing you to touch START, thus setting theclock. If you wish to reset or change time, simplyrepeat the above process.11. Clear/Off. When touched, it stops the oven anderases all settings except time of day.U. Light. Touch ON for cooktop light.AUTOMATIC FAN FEAT~Cooking appliances installed under the oven might,under some heavy usage conditions, cause temperatureshigh enough to overheat some internal parts of themicrowave oven.To prevent overheating, the exhaust fan is designed toautomatically turn on at low speed if excessivetemperatures occur. Should this happen, the fancannot be manually turned off, but it willautomatically turn off when the internal parts havecooled. The fan may stay on up to approximately 30minutes after the range and microwave oven controlshave been turned off.6
