However, onELECTRIC DRYERS,exhausting can be on the right or left side of thecabinet or the bottom of the dryer. OnGAS DRYERS,exhausting can be on the right side of the cabinet orthe bottom of the dryer. Directional exhausting canbe accomplished by installing Exhaust Kit, Pub. No.14-A018, available through your parts distributor.Follow the instructions supplied with the kit.Gas Supply RequirementsReplace brass connecting pipe that is not plastic-coated. Stainless steel or plastic-coated brassMUST be used.WARNING: Never reuse old flexible connectors.The use of old flexible connectors can cause gasleaks and personal injury. Always useNEW flexibleconnectors when installing a gas appliance.InstallationMUST conform with local codes, or inthe absence of local codes, with the National FuelGas Code, ANSI Z223.1 (latest edition).The gas supply line should be of 1/2″ (1.27 cm)pipe.If codes allow, flexible metal tubing may be usedto connect your dryer to the gas supply line.
