Failure to take thisprecaution could result in tipping of the range and cause injury.Oven Heating ElementsDo not clean the bake element or the broilelement. Any soil will burn off when theelements are heated.To clean the oven floor, gently liftthe bake element. Clean with warmsoapy water.Control PanelIt’s a good idea to wipe the control panelafter each use of the oven. Use a dampcloth to clean or rinse. For cleaning, usemild soap and water or a 50/50 solutionof vinegar and water. For rinsing, useclean water. Polish dry with a soft cloth.Do not use abrasive cleansers, strongliquid cleaners, plastic scouring pads oroven cleaners on the control panel—they will damage the finish.How to Remove Protective Shipping Film and Packaging TapeCarefully grasp a corner of the protectiveshipping film with your fingers and slowlypeel it from the appliance surface. Do notuse any sharp items to remove the film.Remove all of the film before using theappliance for the first time.To assure no damage is done to thefinish of the product, the safest way toremove the adhesive from packaging tapeon new appliances is an application of ahousehold liquid dishwashing detergent.Apply with a soft cloth and allow to soak.NOTE: The adhesive must be removed from allparts. It cannot be removed if it is baked on.Control KnobsThe control knobs may be removed for easiercleaning.Make sure the knobs are in the OFFpositions and pull them straight off thestems for cleaning.The knobs can be cleaned in adishwasher or they may also be washedwith soap and water. Make sure the insideof the knobs are dry before replacing.Replace the knobs in the OFF position toensure proper placement.
