However, lack of careand maintenance might cause corrosion.Observe the following tips to avoid corrosion in theoven. No warranty claims can be lodged for anydamage resulting from non compliance with thesenotes.• Clean the oven interior after it has cooleddown. After cleaning, use the drying function todry the oven interior.• Aggressive cleaners may cause corrosion. Onlyuse hot soapy water to clean the oven interior.Use the cleaning function.• Do not use oven cleaner or caustic cleaners.Do not use cleaners containing chloride.• Salt in the oven reacts aggressively. Saltresidues on the oven interior may cause spotsof corrosion. Always remove residuesimmediately.• Spicy sauces (e.g. ketchup, mustard) andsalted food (e.g. salted roasts) contain chlorideand acids. These act aggressively on stainlesssteel. Always clean the oven interior after use.• Only use original accessories in the oveninterior. Rusting materials (e.g. serving plates,cutlery) may cause corrosion of the oveninterior.• Only use original small parts (e.g. knurlednuts).
