18Frothing milkIf you want to froth milk after switching on the machine or after brewing a cup ofcoffee, there may still be some water in the internal circuit. You need to let thiswater flow out of the machine first.1 Place a big cup under the hot water/steam wand or classic milk frother.2 Turn the control dial to the steam icon.- The on/off button flashes while the water heats up.- Hot water comes out of the hot water/steam wand or classic milk frother.3 When only steam comes out of the hot water/steam wand or classic milkfrother, turn the control dial back to the coffee bean icon.- Press the espresso button or regular coffee button once to brew 1 cup ofcoffee.- The machine grinds the required amount of coffee beans for one cup andthen brews one cup of coffee.- Press the espresso button or regular coffee button twice to brew2 cups of coffee.- The 2-cup light lights up. The machine grinds the required amount of coffeebeans for one cup and then fills both cups half. Then the machine grindscoffee beans for one cup again and fills both cups fully.4 Press the on/off button to switch off the machine.- If you only brewed one cup of coffee, the machine briefly rinses the innercircuit before it switches off.Note: When the machine is left in standby mode, it switches off automatically after30 minutes.18 ENGLISH4219-465-00621 MANUAL GAG.
