39ENGLISHGAS INJECTOR (pos.0)Category III 1a2H3 + 2 GR machine 3 GR machine 4 GR machineG20 (methane)G30 (liquid gas)G11O (town gas)9 - GAS ADJUSTMENT4 GAS- ON-OFF VALVE5 PIEZOELECTRIC IGNITIONN GAS REGULATORO GAS INJECTORP RING NUTQ MINIMUM ADJUSTMENT SCREWR PRESSURE ADJUSTMENT SCREWThe machine is set up for being supplied with methane gas (G20),this means that the gas injector (O) and the gas regulator (N) arecalibrated for methane gas.For operation with GPL gas (liquid gas G30) or town gas, the gasinjector (O) must be replaced with the injector enclosed with themachine (see gas injector table).To light the gas burner keep the gas n-oiff valve button (4) presseddown in order to allow the gas to flow to the burner, then operatethe piezoelectric ignition push-button (5).NB: The on-off valve button must remain pressed down for afew seconds to allow the thermo-couple to operate.Adjust the air flow by means of the air adjustment ring nut (P) turningclockwise to reduce the flow and anti-clockwise to increase it, so asto obtain a blue flame (avoid long or excessively oxidising flames toavoid damaging the boiler).Wait for the boiler to reach an operating pressure of 1.1÷ 1.3 atmand for the flame to be reduced to a minimum. If the gas regulator(N) requires calibration, proceed as follows : turn the minimumadjustment screw (Q) clockwise to reduce the flame and anti-clockwise to increase it.To increase or reduce maximum pressure in the boiler, turn thepressure adjustment screw ® clockwise to decrease the pressureand anti-clockwise to increase it.Q RN45OPFig.9.01B C D03 04 051 2 3
